Default '10 Sachs fork bleeder thread size

Anyone know the technical thread size for the '10 Sachs fork bleeder screws? I was headed to the hardware store and didn't have the screws in hand. I was going to replace them with phillips screws instead of the allens.

They are either M3x0.5 or M3x0.6 ... but I think you need the taper of the current screw to seal the o-ring.

Better off leaving those alone and drilling and tapping for fork bleeders in another part of the cap IMO.

I could drill and tap. The two screws are the cheapest option though. I noticed that the taper is 45*. I have a hobby shop here in town that has tons of small things like that.

I think I read a post about the drilling and tapping that caused someone a small issue where the new screw interfered with the cap somehow.

Thanks for the measurements.

I replaced mine with fork bleeders.Do it,really useful mod.Just drill out the hole & tap it.You don't need to remove the caps just drop the fork sleeves. But don't get filings in the forks.Bad,very bad.
