Default Help me ID my bike

I bought this bike used it is a 2 stroke how do I tell what model it is? I has an aftermarket head light thats why I thought it was an endro can I tell from the serial number? UTRXC200011299002 is the serial number the digit could be a V OR U thanks for the help. Who yea what year is it?


The bike has an FMF pipe and BOYSEEN CF reeds

VTRXC200011299002

The first letter should be a V (not U). It indicates foreign made in Spain. The "XC" indicates it was the XC (dealer edition) version made for USA with the lighter MC ignition. The "200" is the engine size. The "1" in the 10th digit means it is a 2001 model.

So, you have a 2001 GasGas XC200.
