Tower Pin's?
Hey guys I have tore my bike completely down for a winter rebuild. The frame is getting powder coated, new top end, flexx bars, new damper (If it ever get's here), pro tect sub mount, etc, etc.
With the new sub mount I need to get a shorter tower pin. My old one is pretty worn so I would like to replace it. I have been looking online trying to find one but I can't seem to locate one. Any help with this would be great. Thanks, Robby |

Have you tried calling Scotts and ask for just the pin? I'm sure they will sell just the pin with mounting bracket.

Go get 'em Boomhauer!!
Not sure of all or the pin lengths Scotts makes off the top of my head but they do make several different ones.

I make my own tower pins.
Just go to a machine shop that rebuilds car engines and get a used valve of the correct stem diameter. Stainless valves with chromed stems are best. Cut the head of the valve off and machine in necessary flats etc. and you have a pin. |

Robby,
I'll bring you a short (cut) Scotts tower pin. |

My new/used damper came in today and it had an extra tower pin that came with it.
So in other words I do not need one now. Thanks for all of the replies! Robby |
