FYI.....I ran the stock ND plug in mine and my son's 2010 Nambos, 2011 Nambos and 2012 XC300 Race models and never changed them or had a problem with them.

proper NGK is a BR8EG but a BR8ES will work, the "s" is for standard electrode, while the "G" is a fine wire nickel electrode for crisper spark...i was told this many years ago from the head engineer of GG for what its worth.

I like to run the BR8EIX iridium plug. Been running them for about 5 years now and haven't fouled one yet. I carry a BR8ES plug for a spare though. The iridium plug is kinda spendy to just have banging around in your fanny pack.

Had a densono in mine electrode broke with only 20hrs

BR8ES is fine, if you foul your jetting is screwed up. Fancy exotic plugs are a waste of $$ IMO. I ran the same Denso in my '07 for a whole season, same later with standard NGKs.
