Default Rear brake master cylinder crossover?
Have anyone managed to replace the rear brake master cylinder with a part from another brand of bike? Yam's and kawi seem similar, but not identical.

I have the integrated brake fluid reservoir but I don't mind replacing it with one that has external reservoir.

Should not be a problem making the switch. Just be sure the master cylinder bores are the same.
The size will be cast on the cylinder housing. eg 1/2, 3/8 etc.

The one from the CR80-85 Honda , 2000-2008 looks to be the same.
It has a remote res. though.

Its the same part number as the 450. I used the Honda part on an 05 GG and havent looked to see if 07 GG changed mounting, so ?
