leaking tank
hi folks,
i have one of the two piece fuel tanks, and it has started to leak from somewhere in the joint between the top part and bottom. because of the shape of it, i cant even really see exacly where it is leaking. has anyone found a fix for this problem, or am i going to have to get a new tank? my old man suggested just cleaning the whole thing really well and using a poly urethane filler, and just sealing around the whole joint from the outside.

my oversized tank got a leak below the seat. I had a ski shop patch it up. I would assume they used something like poly filler and it held well.
