How to check bike year

I have just picked up a TXT 300 and the owner was not sure if it?s 2017 or 2018. Can anyone help with this or advise how I can look this up with the chassis number? Thanks.

Post up a picture of it mate. There are motorcycle vin decoders online as well. But it is the same bike regardless.

In some cases you can look at the markings on the fims and brake hoses.

But on low volume bikes they could have stock left over,.

That looks like a 2018. Google is your friend for the vin decoder.
