favorite clamps for oversized bars
2001 xc300 - delivered with 7/8 bars.
I have a set of oversized bar from BRP that work, but I do not love them. The hardware is all wrong, with bolts that are too long, and nuts that are too large in diameter. Hard to find the right hardware to make it fit better. Something about JIS or non-JIS... I end up using a small stack of washers making the whole package no lighter than 7/8 with a crossbar. And they are just plain clunky looking on the otherwise sculptural GG. What are your favorite, beswt fitting oversized handlebar clamps? Are there factory clamps I can retrofit and love? TIA, Dean -OCD much?
