Default yet more problems

bike broke down saturday, it cut out and would not start from kicking it over but a nice long hill in second got it started, it ran for about 5-10 minutes and cut out again woudnt start from either kick or bump, changed the plug and still no joy no spark, got the bike home checked all the wiring and all seemed fine, took the stator out and it was very dusty and rusty on the metal plates out the edges of each coil, i cleaned them all up and bike started very easy and reved and idled perfect... i didnt ride it just had it running in the garden and put it away, i got it out today to take it for a test run and soon as i started the bike it idled like a terrible and had trouble reving out so i slowly took it for a ride down the street and it seemed to get slightly better but then it cut out and now wont restart

ive looked at the factory manual on the ohms reading the stator should be

impulse coil 100 Ω +/- 20% mine is 101 Ω

exciter 12.7 Ω +/- 20% mine is 1. Ω

charge coil yellow-earth 0.67 Ω +/- 20% mines is .001
white-yellow 0.16 Ω +/- 20% mine is .000

You may have an ignition coil breaking down.
Check the kill switch also.

I'd try cutting a 1/4" off the end of the spark plug wire.

Some of your posted stator values look much too low to me.

I also really wanna know what it was? Did the stator fix it, or was it still a bad ignition coil?

Two weeks ago down in Hancock my bike was running like crap. We thought it might be the stator we ended up changing the spark plug cap. After that it ran perfect
