Default Some fresh trail

Up Billy Goats!

As normal, video does no justice. 1st attempt was weak in 1st gear thinking I could just goat grunt it up. Not enough momentum and power either spun the rear in the loose trail trash or had the front wheel going skyward.

Second attemp in 2nd with a fair amount of clutch abuse and some wheel spin chasing drive when pointed straight. Pretty messy by the end of it.

Nice Jake...like the "bastard" when you realize you'll have to turn around and try it again...lol.

It was tough to actually see a trail there. Aside from the ribbons, it didn't look like it's been ridden in much?

Don't take this the wrong way, but that GoPro mount needs some sound work...sounded like it was being assaulted by everything around it

Can tell it's steep from the picture

Cheers

The go pro is past its age. Cover is scratched up. My software rapes its clarity, and then youtube just ices the cake. I rarely use it anymore as its all same old same old after a while. New track deserves a quick clip though.

Not for this junkie...lol.

I think the same thing at times, then realize that capturing the footage now means I'll have something to watch when rocking the retirement home

My guess is I'm also not the only nut in the States who likes to see what riding is like in your neck of the world either

Keep 'em coming!

My mate Billy Goat Sach just got a new go pro for his birthday so I'll pass the duties over to him A few of the local group have discussed putting some time and effort into capturing some better footage as well as just helmet cam. Problem is when we ride its usually ride ride ride. Covered 180kms yesterday.

I gotta agree that I like ride/race videos - both self-shot and 2nd party capture.

I like to see where/what/how other guys ride. I know what my local scene is like, but it's fascinating to me to see how it's done on other parts of the planet.

For sure it's a pain to do, cause we just want to go when it's ride time. I get that.

I post the odd thing to give people a little glimpse into my world. It's cool when others do the same.

Keep 'em coming!

Funny how the novelty wears off fast isn't it. Especially when that super narly steep track that was ridden like a pro on the pipe doesn't turn out anything like that...
Nice little section btw. One day I'll get up there for a ride.
