Default Use a cheap laser level to align your chain

aligning on the chain won't do it. You need to align on the sprocket to make sure it's adjusted on both sides correctly.

If you line it along the edge of the sprocket teeth on the rear sprocket you would be able to get it fairly close I would have thought.
