About to By a EC 300 1999

Hello everyone, i?m been away from enduro for a couple of years but im about to start driving again. Found a 1999 Gagas Ec 300 for, approx 1000 $ ( In Sweden, i live here ) What do u think? I know there will be a lot of work whit an old bike but i?m not new in the garage.

I?ve been serching the web for various parts, like Ebay. But i?t isn?t that much around. How does the EC 300 model history look, When did they start with this model, 97, 98 ? And when did they stop? 02 ? It would be nice with a crossover list between Models. / Best regards Jonathan

Hey Jonathan,

$1000 Seems like a fair price I paid 720 euros for a '98 EC250 so yes I'd have a look at it,I found that the swingarm bearings, (possible shock linkage bearings) needed replacing on mine as they probably have not been changed since 98.
General maintainence really oils/fluids etc.....I'm 1/4 way through a rebuild.

They still make 300's
