Default Rear wheel options?

hi folks,
I have an 04 ec300 that i need a new rear hub/wheel for as the original has flogged out the bearing races. Im looking for a cheapish option as im thinking of getting rid of the bike.
also im in OZ which limits my choices, i dont think i would find a second hand one. - If anyone has one i would be interested.....
I've looked into getting a machinist to sleave the hub but that will cost almost as much as a new hub from gasgas.
new hub is priced reasonable -oem hub, but after adding the price of a spoke set to that, it starts to seem a bit costly.
My local GG dealer suggested getting a set of wheels (talon/excel) for my newer gasser (ec250r, 09) and putting the original wheels off that onto my 04. But for $1500 for a set of wheels, it would still be an expensive exercise.
I have looked into getting a second hand KX rear wheel but i cant find one of those as they had really light hubs that were also prone to flogging out.
Has anyone had similar problems or has anyone got any suggestions options for me i havent considered yet?

I'm not sure if your 03 is the same as 07 ec300 but in a pinch I swapped a 1989 Honda CR 250 complete wheel onto my bike. Direct fit.

'03 and '07 hubs are different, but the fit is the same and they interchange.

I have a set of 03 wheels on my 2011. Direct fit with bearing and spacer swap on the front wheel.
