Default Which base gaskets?

Hi guys, I've got an Athena top end gasket set for my 300, 2 fiber and 1 plastic. Which ones should I use for what engine characteristics and in what order? Thanks!

Depends. Lifting the cylinder (more gaskets) moves the power curve up in the rpm, reduces the compression ratio, and increases the squish clearance. Less does the opposite.

Beware too much compression is bad, too much squish is bad, and well, needless to say, no squish clearance is really bad.
