Default How to remove main bearings and seals?

What's the best way to remove the main, crank beaing seals and the left side bearing? Screwdrivers? Special seal removing tools? I would like to hear how others are doing this.

Thanks,
Eric

When I have done this I use a heat gun on the case, then punch out the seals with a wooden punch or dowel.

The seals should come out with a screw driver I have baked the cases at about 300f for 20 mins. Take out with some hot mitts and slap the case on a cookie sheet the bearings will fall right out.
