another weird problem

Hello,
I have new problems with my 98 EC250. After repairing and afterwards leaktesting my gastank with water, I ran the bike and everything was fine. After about 10 kilometres it did not want to rev out fully, and the "reachable" RPM then got less and less until it died and left me stranded.
As I discovered today, it might have been water sitting in the carb, it was clearly visible.
So I drained the gastank, dried it out 100% and flushed it, also the carburetor.
The bike started right up, but after giving it some gas for 30 seconds it died again. After draining the carb again, it started back up.
If it dies, and I try starting it without draining the carb bevorehand, it will flood the plug and wont start until dry again.
So why do I have to drain the carb, for the bike to run half a minute? IMO there cant be any water left in the fuelsystem. I reduced my float level a little bit, because the carb was draining when the bike was leaning, but this shouldnt be the problem, right?

Maybe the water, although undesirable is not what the issue is not the problem now. Check for spark after it dies. Consistent with stator charge coil failing when hot.
