I knew we'd hammer it out with enough info.
The guys on this site are great!

I've had really good luck with Amsoil Dominator and Spectro premix. I've used Bel Ray in a pinch, found it to be... gooey and spoogy.

You should be able to get your hands on an '04 and up radiator somewhere, I'd see about the fan too while you're at it. It came on quite a bit at low speed on the Wild HP 240 we had.

Amsoil Dominator here too. Go even richer than the bike specs to start, as the Quad is a lot more load on the motor.

Any luck with this? I own a 2000 gasgas 300 wild hp and just was having it rejetted and dynoed at the shop. ( The quad was like new I bought it from an old man who recieved it by helping a shop owner/friend whoms business was going under financially; he then ended up with this as repayment instead of money. Quad had maybe 20 hours on engine after break in period. Looks new still! ) So..It seized up at the shop during their dyno testing after cleaning the air filter they claim? I have video on youtube under "gasgas300hp" I'm liable according to the shop and now stuck with a broke quad. Anyway yeah I hoped you could lead me in the right direction with your past trouble shooting in engine rebuilding. Thanks!

Very interesting thread, I never thought of the theory of more oil less fuel meaning engine running lean resulting in hotter burn!!
Thats given me pause for thought as i have been running 36:1 For over a year now although it has not given me any problems.

From who? Les hasn't made them in a while. I'd like to get one.

I think gofasters has contracted with someone to produce them now that Les does not. I think that was on a post not too long ago.
