Will do, take care Doc.

I've been running Motul 710(50:1) and getting a reasonable amount of spooge, hoping the change to 927 will cure that a bit........and that smell

Thanks Rodent, I fear the brand change will not make a difference concerning the spooge...

You are correct Doc, spooge was around the same amount. I was also disappointed that the 927 didn't really produce that iconic Castor smell

I may have to try some other oils for that Castor smell, I use Blendzall in my yard equipment, I may have to give it a go in the Gasser I do have some Klotz but haven't tried it yet.

That aside, the bike is running fantastic and a great day was had

The spooge is a result of your fuel air mixture.

Thanks for the feedback Jim

I'm reluctant to dick with the air/fuel mix as I really like the feel of the bike at the moment and I can deal with the spooge, but I may drop the needle 1 slot just to see what happens.

Rode the Gasgas today at Neerim south. Absolutely packed in the carpark. Saw 2 other Gasgas ec300s, that got to be a record!
Jetting felt slightly off today, had trouble starting cold. With no choke it was struggling to run. Improved greatly as the day warmed up though. Hard to change it when it feels good.

Pilot jet is blocked is my guess. I always run float down at the end of a ride so it isn't sitting in gas.
15 min, take off top, rotate, take off bowl and sprocket guard.

Yeah I'll have a look. I'm thinking an AS adjustment may be in order, I recently changed from a 40 to a 42pj

Realigned my front rim by spoke adjustment to centralise it in the forks to avoid my new fatty front tyre from badly hitting the LH fork protector.
Then had equal rubbing on both sides.
Drilled out front mounting holes of both fork protectors by another 0.5mm, realigned protectors, now all good.
