Can anyone help??
i have a 300ec 2001, on a couple of occasions when riding at low revs the bike will suddenly increase to max revs and stick untill it dies without me changing throttle position. i thought it may have something to do with the oil/fuel mix so i have been very careful in that respect and still the problem persists. can anyone offer an explanation or suggest any steps i can take to resolve the problem. many thanks. Check your air boot for cracks. An air leak will cause the revs to build like that. Also make sure your throttle cable housing isn't popping out of the throttle tube housing or carb top.
