... Don't forget Thomaston Dam, in Thomaston, CT., which would be West of you on 84, then up Rt 8 towards Torrington. Fantastic facility maintained by the Army Corps of Engineers. No plates needed, and free. Very tight and twisty singletrack, if that's your thing. This Sunday (the 26th) it opens and the opening is hosted by the Pathfinders MC. There will be a fee for this ride, but well worth it. I'm waiting for my GasGas, which I should be getting within the next two weeks.
