Default Steering damper fitments

Whos running what on their 06 EC's? Having had GPRV2's on my KTM's, i was disapointed to see they don't offer them for Gassers. Scotts do, but they are top dollar

I have a GPR on my 04. I bought a BRP upper clamp mounting bracket.

I have a Scott's and I purchased the ProTect Enduro underbar mount. They also have one for the GPR:

Great product. It moves the bars forward and up. Being a short guy I thought that would be an issue, but in actuality I like the bar position better.

So do i take it that both of these style of mount "adapt" the mounting holes on the damper to those on the mount?

Boomhauer, which model of bike did you order the GPR for,as they don't list any for Gassers?

Thanks

I ordered it from Jim Cook @ Smackover Motorsports but he is no longer in business.

I would just call BRP and tell them what you have. Or give GoFasters a call and I am sure they can get it for you.

It was for my 04 300 GG. My mount will take either the Scotts or the GPR.

Hope this helps.

I have an RTT unit integrated with the top clamp and with remote handle bar switch - love it as I can change damping with both hands on the bars. It's also nice and compact.

I Had A Gpr On My 01 Yz 250, And My 05 Rm 250, I Think The Gpr Was Junk Along With The Post (which Was Aluminum And I Had To Drill & Tap Holes On Each Side Of It For Set Screws To Keep It From Moving) When I Did Get It Mounted Securley The Post Flexxed Too Much Anyway. Now I Have A Scotts With A Steel Post Which Is Lightyears Better, Plus The Damper Is Also Better, I Think The Gpr Was Actually Working Against Me & Promoting Arm Pump. But The Scotts On The Other Hand The Scotts Is Great & Very Adjustable. Plus I Like The Fact That You Can Control The Range "sweep" Of The Dampining. Try A Scotts, Its Worth The Extra I Promise.

George, i figured that out a few days ago and decided to get myself one. I have had a message in with Go Fasters since Monday, for the correct fitments to be sorted out for my bike. They did ask what bars i was running, but then its all gone quiet. I was out today in a bunch of sandy whoops and rocks and wished i had had one fitted.

They will need to know what bar position the clamps are in to get the right top clamp.
