i cant seem to find any downloadable shop manuals or even owners manuals for a 2001 GasGas TXT280.
any info, or links to info, would really be appreciated.

I assume you downloaded the parts manual from the link above. What are you looking for specifically? I've had to do a lot of work on this TXT I've been riding. Maybe I can help.

well i have been going for psychiatic therapy for almost 10 years now, and not one bit of good has come from it, so i don't see how a conversation will help........oh wait you mean about the bike.....sorry.

there isnt any one particular issue that i'm trying to solve right now.
i just like to learn the inner working, rebuild procedure, etc before there is a problem.
i downloaded the 04 txt owners manual but its just a rough overview with some specs.
i guess i'm looking for a shop manual.

I chuckled. Keep me in mind. I've had to go through the forks a couple times. Had some clutch and brake issues. But it's all good for the moment!

i download a 06 owners manual. here what i want to make sure is correct.

premix at 1.5% which is 66:1
spark plug gap is 0.6mm = 0.024"
