No linkage. I have to study this a bit. It looks nice. Better than my neighbor's Pioneer from the early 1970s.

Dig around a bit. There is a linkage and a somewhat odd swingarm pivot. Shock is mounted off to the side.

Injected but not DI, you still premix, two radiators up front and on the sides whereas the trials bike had the tank up front and the rad tucked behind.

Good eye. Thanks. I only looked at the first picture, and could see what I thought was the shock, and from that angle it didn't look like there was a linkage. You did my studying for me! Thanks.

Spoke to a riding friend of mine today, who is a sponsored Sherco rider amongst other great companies as well. His team mate was approached by OSSA to ride for them. Well in short he rode the new trials bike. He raved about how nimble the bike is and compared it to Gas Gas, but his opinion on power delivery in his own words "it was very weak and took to long to build up power!" He did mention as soon as they work out the bugs with it, they will be great bikes!

Cheesy disclaimer......I am in no way trying to slam OSSA. This is all second hand info from a good source! I think the bikes look stellar. I am speaking of the trials line of bikes, not the enduros....of course!

Ive got a pioneer from the early 70's, it was state of the art back then,
especially when grandad mounted his "wicked knew" marzocci shocks on it.
Dont knock it till youve rocked it!

Rumor heard on Ossa front a couple of weeks ago: US importer has changed as it is no longer the "Hot" Group/Ossaworld out of Iowa. The word is that Lewisport will be the new importer. Also, as of now, the rumor is still there is only 1 "real" motor for the FI 2T enduro. Most other motors seen have been mock-ups (reported to be plastic). So, those waiting for Explorers may want to contact the folks at Lewisport! Take away from this? The Spanish companies are struggling with a lackluster world economy.
