Default Gas Gas Seat Height

Once upon a time Gas Gas two strokes were a little bit shorter than the rest of the worlds bikes. Nowadays their advertised seat height is as tall as any other. Are they bigger now? Can you get the shorter seat?

The 2007's are lower.

They're using a Sachs shock that has a shorter shaft as well.

How short do you need it to be?

Once mine broke in it seemed no taller than my Honda CR250.

If height is a real issue, you can get longer pull rods and drop the forks in the clamps, or better yet have your suspension lowered by LTR or you favorite shop.

BTW I'm 5'6" and yeah my bike could be lower. It only really matters if I stop LMAO.

I am about 5' 8" tall and my current Husky TC450 is about an inch and a half too tall for me so to speak. I ride it just fine until I get going real slow and have to dab. Having to lean that extra bit to touch the ground makes for a lot more effort to hold the bike up. This is only an issue in real slow going. I think having a lighter weight two stroke will solve most of the problem right off the bat which is one reason why I am making the move. Once my TC sells, which should be tonight, I am free to get a new bike. #1 choice is an EC300, or I guess it is the DE300. I just wish they were quieter.

At 5'8" I'd say you should be fine.
