Default Gasgas ec250 2003 value?

Hi guys my friend is thinking of buying a used 250ec he has seen for sale it's tidy new tyres front/rear good chain and sprockets mechanically sound with a fresh mot it's up for ?1500 Ono he's thinking of buying it tomorrow at the agreed price of ?1300 is he paying over the odds? Or is this a reasonable deal? My ec300 2006 I got for the bargain price of 1150 cash as the guy was desperate for cash but I'm thinking 1300 is maybe 100pound plus over the price he should pay? Any help would be appreciated as we can't find a lot of them forsale so we don't know what to go off

I paid 2100 for mine. My market tends to drive the cost a bit. I was happy to pay that, since I got a great running/riding machine. At 1300, if it's trail worthy...I say go for it.

If it's GBP, then the conversion is 1500 GBP =$2300 USD. So 1300 GBP is $2050 USD. Not a bad price if it has the MOT up to date and a full log book. It's a gut feel, right? If it feels good, it is. I paid $1300 USD for a 2002 in desperate need of a complete overhaul, so if the bike is mint then the agreed price is proper.

I forgot about exchange rates. Thanks for working that out, Phil. Anyway, I'm glad the numbers crunch.
