Default Time to say goodbye.

After I hurt my back last year I sold my 2012 EC 250e, as it was going to be left lying up till this seasons racing. I've gone to the dark side & bought a TM 144 EN, in a hope that a lighter bike will be easier on my back! best of luck to all, but you'd never know, I may be back in the future.

Robs.

You scared me with the "going to the dark side" ....I thought you might have got the "orange flu". You need to let us know how the TM works. I've always liked the TMs. Good luck with it and hope your back stays in shape.

Good luck with your back and new bike. I dont know if I believe that a lighter bike translates into easier on your back though. It would seem to me that a 4T would absorb hits much better. But I do understand the weight factor of the 144.

Selling the bike is no reason to leave the forum, you never know when someone will be asking for help and you might have the answer they need.
I sold my Gasser to a friend and went to a full Sherco house (trials, play & enduro) but still send in my donation to the site when funding support is needed and have more friends on Gassers than the orange ones.
Lots of good info here that crosses over to most bikes and some of the ride reports are epic.

Guys, thank you all for the good wishes. I'll not be handing back the keys to my account, just meant that I no longer have a GG. Sorry if my heading freaked anyone out but I couldn't buy a pumpkin. I'll keep lurking from time to time and if I can help out any members with info then I'll leave a post. For now I'm still in physio, but as soon as I can get out for a few rides I'll post my thoughts on the 144.

Regards,
Robs.

Not a great photo, or tidy workshop. Ha ha.

You've done really well with a TM. Beautiful bike. Please report back how it's been treating you from time to time. Take care.
