I can understand where you are coming from.

The reason i put the 7.5 at 90mm is because when i originally bought the forks that is this viscosity and height i used. So i basically put everything back to original. The two teardowns after this i continued with the same.

It was only when i started to get problems with lack of feeling and no adjustments that i tried a higher viscosity with a larger air gap.
