Thanx again people, Really I 'don't mean to sound neg towards the GG I just need to get the bike out to dial it in. I did find out one interesting thing. My bike is one of 3 or 4 250's here in Alberta. Maybe that is why I'm getting confused with the info. If I had one of those other cycles, there would be thousands of bikes to jet too. But I don't want to be just another face in a crowd I want to out perform and cover the crowd with dirt. That is why I bought a GG. Thanks again and I will post my results once dialed in. Maybe I may help others as GG in this area become more common place. Later

I ride with a guy that has 2 250's and one ec 300. i have a ec300 as well. we have the 250's and the 300 's jetted just about identically. 172 mains in the cooler weather/170/168 in the summer,38/40 pilots/# 9 slides-not the stock #7s-(this seems to be a huge difference on the low end rpm rollon idleling problems.) i'm using a kawi needle-nozi or nozh as my needle jett is worn out more than the other bikes.the stock n1ef/n1eg series works well with the rest of the bikes. airscrew about 1.5-2.5 turns out needle clip is #2/3 in the bikes. we ride at evelavations of 1500-5000 ft. this isn't knocking the ltr kits, they seem to work for a lot of guy's,just giving some info if your intrested in another avenue on the road to jetting bliss!

sorry this is not as simple as it should be. i spent an age chasing jetting nirvana and in then end wasn't far from dealer / importer advice. unfortunately there is a lot of personal taste involved. dealer / importer advice in the UK is based on a lot more bikes as Gas Gas is more popular here.
