Default EC250 Wiring

I have a 19 EC250 that I used to run with a 24v starter set up.

I'm reverting back to using a single battery but I'm no longer hearing the audible "click" on the starter relay when using the wiring below.

Please can I check the wiring as the starter relay and starter motor are new.

+ive of battery to one terminal on starter relay
Other terminal on starter relay to +ive on starter motor

-ive of battery to ground

Is that correct?

thanks

Sounds correct to me. Just make sure if the negative of the battery goes to ground that the starter body is grounded as well.

Yes it is. Must be the handlebar switch. What's the easiest way of testing that?

I would just do a continuity test. Take the two wires going to the switch, attach your multimeter to them, and test to see if you have continuity when pushing the button.
