The best part about it is that it is public land. It is open all year around for riding and moto recreation. Our riding season is easily 9 - 10 months a year.

It's got @ 10 miles around the house, one 2 hour hs race, 75 mile dual sport ride with very little road (basically an un-scored enduro), 60 mile trail ride and coming up maybe a national enduro this weekend in VA.

Changes so far- pulled the trail tech which would not read from the wheel after a lot of checking, something wrong in the lead from the wheel up to unit, unit is fine otherwise, lots more room for the cables and hoses behind the light now, seems happier back there with it out. (3rd bike I purchased with that tt unit, none of them worked well, pulled them all and gave them away). Tall seat, bar risers, ims pegs and yz kicker. Cheap-o pipe guard which I actually like better than the carbon cause it washes out nicely. One of my koolaid drinking friends says "its the fastest 250 I ever rode" and he has ridden them all enduro to mx. Don't know about all that but I like it a lot, no regrets whatsoever in getting this bike. All I could do to ride one section on my friend's bike, wanted to get back on this thing so bad.

Default Rode the Broad Mtn Enduro

So I rode my first Enduro in 20 plus years only ever rode sandy south Jersy ones . Someone told me that this is an easy ride . Not At All can you say ROCKS LARGE ROCKS . Oh yea did I say ROCKS LOOSE ONES SMALL ONES GIANT ONES AND EVEN BIGGER ONES than that . Then add in coal slippery stuff and uphills / downhills and some more rocks and that is the event that I rode my 2005 200 de on . Beat the crap out of it but it got me though it . Thank god for the Recluse Auto Clutch never going to own a Enduro bike without one . Third place not bad for a first timer ! Now the rest of the season should be easy , looking forward to some trials riding a lot easier on this old man .

Broad mountain was my first enduro this year. Figured I'd start with an easy one! Not! Broke the stud off my power valve in the last section and made that section tougher than it allready was. Spot welded it and good to go, forks are off and ready to go to Matto cycle for service.

1. Removed crossbar from stock Renthal Twinwall handlebar. I just do not like these things. They may be strong, yes, but ... still I do not like them. Makes handlebar too cramped and too rigid for my taste. Much better now.

2. Bought this thing for my son as his old Airoh is quite worn already. Seems to be quite nice bit of kit actually.
