which front mudguard will fit an 06 ec200?

iv have read many contrasting posts, some say the kx fender fits, others say non fit without drilling, has anyone acctuly fitted a different front mudguard without any mods? thanks

Our cross over indicates that a 97-01 KX250, and a 02 to 2009 Yamaha YZ250 will both work.

Hmmm I'll have to look into that yz fender for my 06 300 ... I have a wer damper and can't put it on with the stock gasser fender w/o hacking the fender up.
