Default sachs shock baseline?

for an 07 - anyone know what is the low speed baseline clicker setting? i would assume somewhere around halfway out.

rebound is 25 and h.s. is 1.5 turns out - right?

On my '10 with Sachs, baseline is 6 clicks out on HS, which coincidentally is 1 1/2 turns out. LS compression they spec as 7, but I have only 8 total LS clicks. I run mine at 4 out.

Rebound, I have 40 total clicks out. Baseline is 25 out, I am at 15 out right now.

105mm race sag. 5.2 spring. I am a tad heavy for that spring at 190lbs in shorts, but it is working ok for now. If I found a 5.4 for cheap I would try it.

thanks for the info - i put a 5.4 off my ohlins on it today (spring was from a sachs anyways) i bottomed the 5.2 this weekend on a minor jump.

i ran it like the last guy had which was just not working for me : rebound 10, ls 3 (has 25 clicks) , hs 10 (2.5 turns)

What did Les say for the stock shock settings? I am not one to oppose getting the screwdriver out.

i did tell him i had 5.4 spring in the rear, but i doubt that changed his baseline.

rear
Rebound, 12-14 out
Compression depends on what adjuster you have fitted, there are 2 possibilities for GasGas. If it has a total of about 15 clicks, set at 10-12 out. If it has 20 plus clicks, set at 16 out.
H.S. Comp at 16 to 18 clicks out.
(these are shock specs with no corrective valving done)

front
You will probably need a .44 Kg/mm fork spring for the fork. 120-130 mm fluid height. Stock rebound to 8-10 out. Comp. about 18 out.
(these are fork specs with no corrective valving done)

i'm gonna run it this weekend at gncc and see how it goes. my forks have been revalved, so i'm not running these settings..

Umm... my '10 has only 12 HS clicks in 1/4 turn increments on the large outer ring, I am at 6 out for 1 1/2 turns out.

The LS inner flat head screw has only 8 clicks closed to open; these are in 1/4 turn increments. I am at 4 out.

The rebound on the bottom has 31 clicks, I am at 15 (25 was stock). These are 1/10th increments.

The bike rides good, I was just curious how others have more clicks!!

They must have changed something, maybe the increments of the clicks. One click on my shock LS or HS makes what feels like a large difference either way.

No matter where the clickers are set, the biggest thing is getting the bike to feel balanced and plush with minimal chassis movement.
