Default 12 EC300 mapping question

Im using a multimeter to test mapping

One question about the mapping, when on sun mode ohm reads 1. when switched to rain mode it reads .7, this with the bike off. Does this reading mean my switch is okay? Is .7 enough?

thanks!

Nick

The "1." reading means isolation - no contact at all. ".7" I assume is 0.7 omhs which is probably the resistance in your probe cables. That is the closed, or ON reading.

I do think you might have a switch that is not meant for the Gasgas CDI. It should be closed (Your 0.7 readout) when in Sunny mode. Note that the switch should be flipped towards the sun symbol for sunny mode. Switch button is flat and level with switch body when mode is activated. Does that make any sense?
