Walker Valley skating rink
Fun day on the trails today. A balmy 50* F, yet still lots and lots of ice. Made it interesting to come cooking around a corner and have a sheet of ice in your braking zone. Here's one example. My old XC300, a 2006 EC300, and me on my 2011 300. Fun stuff.

Fortunately my earlier plunge in an ice bog wasn't repeated here! Ice made for an interesting day of riding my newly acquired 07 EC300 for the first time. Love that bike!

When I was there last winter, I had a friend get hurt on a transition road that was nothing but ice.
