I always say just go ride it, just dont hold it wide open down a long road.

The best option is to bring it to me, I'll run it in......... give me about 3 months
Seriously, major research has been done and it's still an open debate as to how metals wear into each other, and what's the best way to do it. The heat cycle method is this generations new buzz word, but I suggest having a look here - http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm GG's make great motors, we open a customers 2001 the other day and it still had the hone marks on it. As soon as my 300 is back together we must ride. Hope the new ride is great.........It's a GG, it will be great. |
