Default Need help identifying some wires (05 EC250)

Tonight I stripped the my bike down a bit. I want to do some cleaning neglected by the previous owner.

I also would like to add back a headlight as well as a tail/brake light.

Under the seat I found this wire. Yellow, violet and white. I believe this is for a rear tail/brake light?

Then I found these bunched up in front of the gast tank. Two yellow and two violet wires. One pair has "aftermarket connectors" as you can see they're the ones my thumb is holding. I'm guessing possible high beam/low beam or turn signals? If they're turn signals where I my darn headlight wires.

Then I found this cluster of wires as well. I know the round black pieces is the coil. But I have no idea what the smaller black square box is. Everything is connected, so I think this part of the wiring is fine.

Top one looks like the rear brake light wires. The second looks like the headlight wires. The black box is a rectifier.

Thank you.

Do you think this switch would work for lights?

I just wish it also had a kill switch to have an all in one control.

Why not just use a simple toggle switch. That is what my bike has. It is mounted behind the number plate and probably costs $2 at radio shack.

That could work. Partly I was hoping to try and get this road legal. So having the extra functions available on the switch would be good.

Follow up....

So I received my new Polisport headlight today.

The back of the headlight has 3 prongs for the headlight. There is a second set of wires (two wires) for a bulb that is offset to the left. From I have found this is a Euro requirement? Here is a picture of the back of the light.

Here is a wiring diagram I found for the 3 prongs on the back. The headlight came with nothing.

With the wires below...what would be the property way?

I would recommend a "marine grade" 3-way toggle switch. I used them on my off-road only 4x4s for years. Switch in the middle, "off". Switch in down position, "lo-beam". Up position, "HI-beam". Cost: under $20. Just a thought

Switch I'm all set on now. I'm confused for the wiring. On my ATV's all I had to do is find a hot wire when the key was on and run a ground.

Now I have 4 wires on my bike. 5 wire connections on the headlight and I have to wire in a toggle switch as well. That's where my confusion comes in.
Just a thought...Do two of the wires go to a switch? The other two run to the headlight? Then I just need to run a ground?

As for the extra light on the left...the DRL...I could just leave that disconnected. Or feed it power from the main light?

Try this for a wiring diagram-

Since we don't have batteries on the old models, you have to hunt for hot with the engine running. Also, I don't know if you have a regulator/rectifier or just the regulator. You may be running AC instead of DC if you have the little two wire box. I have a trail tech reg/rec standing by for the day I convert my '02 to street legal, but right now I am running my headlight on AC power. No burnt bulbs yet, but it's only one small lamp. Just an FYI that it may not be as simple as we wish.
