Default Trailtech Installation and other mods

I have had my 2011 EC 300 with estart for about 10 months. Here are some photos of the Trailtech installation and some other mods.

1. ) This is the trailtech computer with the aluminum mounting bracket,

*All of the wires, except the powers leads, are connector specific. So, it is impossible to connect the wrong wires. Very hassle free. If you have a battery, the power leads just connect to the battery terminals.

2.) If you use the aluminum mounting bracket, it will interfere with gps reception. So, a remote antenna is needed. It comes with the bracket.
*See photo below.
3.) Here is a photo of the magnetic pickup that slips into the front brake disc,

4.) Here is the speedometer cable that screws directly into your front brake caliper. No drilling required.
*See photo below.

5.) This is the coolant temperature sensor. The two clamps are included and a pvc pipe cutter works really well to cleanly cut the radiator hose. If you look to the left you will see a red wire wrapped around the spark plug wire. This provides a signal to the engine hour meter.
* Will add photo below later.

6.)This is my sub mounted GPR V4.

7.) This is a Guts Soft Tall Seat that I bought from Mark at Go Fasters. This is the best money that I have ever spent.

8. These are SKF seals that were installed by Drew Smith at WER. This is their condition after six months pounding the Florida sand. GREAT SEALS/GREAT REVALVE!
*see photo below.

Photobucket is super easy.

Place curser over pic you want to post. Wait for drop down menu.
Left click on "IMG code" Will say "copied".
Go to your post and right click mouse and select paste.

That's it.

This is the coolant temperature sensor and engine hour sensor(the red wire wrapped around the spark plug wire). A pvc pipe cutter gives a very clean cut to the radiator hose. The two new hose clamps come with the Trailtech.
