Default Hammerhead Shifter length

Can anyone tell me what length Hammerhead is the same length as the OEM '07 shifter? 0 or +10mm? Thanks.

The zero is the same as the stock 07' shifter.
I have the +10mm on my 07' and it fits my size 11 foot very well.

And a positive plug for Hammerhead; 2000 miles later the shifter is still very tight at the tip. 2 big thumbs up.

The foot peg position was changed on the 2011 bikes. My '07 shifter was perfect, the '11 bike was too short.
The longer HammerHead works perfect now.

I put one on an older GG125 that my brother got but don't remember what length it was. The 125s then had longer shifters than the 250s, the same as the '07 250 shifters. Thanks, I'll order a standard length. The stocker is fine for my size 9s with Pivot Pegs, just been bent and bent back on the trail so confidence in it is not high.

How much longer is the standard hammerhead compared to the 2011 stock shifter? I installed moose hybrids with the 1/2 inch offset and the stock shifter is still a bit short for my size 8 Gaernes and I don't want to raise it a tooth on the spline to get clearance. Not sure if I should go with a standard or +5mm offset shifter?

I think what he means is that the pegs are moved foward, and the shifter length is the same, so it is effectively shorter in feel.

The Hammerhead shift lever is the same length as the stock one.
The effective length is changed by getting different tips.

I went with a +15 tip. Perfect for my size 10 boots on the '11 bike.

You also want the narrow width tip. On the wide tip, you would have to splay your toes out too far to shift.

Narrow shift tip.

Wide shift tip.

+20 shifter tip. Notice the distance from the pivot to the tip?

Thanks for the info. I think I'll try the +5 narrow and get a +10 tip later if needed.

Where are you guys getting these things? Direct from Hammerhead or elsewhere?

I was on Hammerheads site and everything I chose for GG was out of stock/unavailable.
