Thumbs up Louzan classic enduro

A Perfect Day!
Louzan (Portugal) air field hosted a race for offroad bikes up to 1995 consisting of three slalom tests, two 20km loops of forest trails and two 200mt acceleration tests.
160 riders entry list was a sucsess WHERE age of bike plus rider age WHERE Given a bouns in secunds in The Same amount.
3 classes, up to 1985, 1986 to 1995 and open class for under 16 year olds. The old Portuguese 50cc Were the stars like CASAL, SACHS and Macal.
I hope it is the first of many!
I ran with a borrowed KTM 350 GS Enduro 1989.

A similar club has started in the UK, for enduro bikes 25 + years old. Sounds like fun, although it'll be a few years before Gas Gas bikes are eligible.

was this just a few weeks ago that this event took place?
i'm looking to go on a trip and rent some endurobike to go riding in the woods and stuff.
if the weather is pretty good and soft and sunny in portugal, i'd concider flying over.

any places where i could rent a good bike, not too expensive there?

ciao, hannes.

Default All are welcome to Portugal!

Although I never had the exprience I recommend you these operators if the weather is a factor for you, because they are in central and southern Portugal where the weather is milder and the riding style is more "open space".

... But if you want to save your ? ? ? You can always call me or send a message that I'll lend you a bike so you can come riding with me in the Lisbon area
