So from your sketch you just swapped your white and yellow wire coming out of the stator?? And now you have the yellow wire going to the stock AC and the yellow wire going to your ac/dc RR??

Yep swappped, yellow from stator to r/r, and white to original ac reg

That's an odd way of doing things, but if it works why not? You should be able to disconnect the white wire and get the same result.
Your problems made me think that the white wire was not making good contact and that caused your voltage drop. The other way this could occur is if somehow you had a connection that was grounding both sides of the rectifier.

Yea, ive been thinking as well, i think i had a bad connection with my white wire.. but hell its working now anyhow
