Wiring Help

ok so now have all my bits to convert AC to DC using a Reg/Rec powering a 2 button switch (HI / Lo) to a LED headlight and Rear tail/brake light.

Using the ducati energia yellow (+) to the yellow of the RR
and red ( - ) to the white of the RR

as i understand the wire from the tail light needs to run to the lightswitch which will be supplied with DC power from the RR.

the power feed from the rear brake switch should also tap into the live from the RR

The problem i am struggling to understand is the light switch and bulb wiring

3 wires from the bulb H / L & (earth)
it has 2 push in & out switches in total 4 wires.
I assume the switch is only live when it is pushed in.

Did you manage to sort it out? Perhaps a more basic wiring diagram will help. Most of the work is identifying the switch wires and figuring out their function.

Ive wired up 95% just got to test ive got the switch and headlight configuration right before i crimp the bullets and heat shrink over them....i learnt the hard way in the past.

those wiring diagrams make my head spin, however the diagram you sent me helped i did most right upto now just those damn switches and headlight connectors that may be a pain, i really appreciate the help you have given me.

maybe hopefully in the next new year ill be coming to live in canada..yay
