My 2009 EC300 Racing does not respond to this switch. I checked that the switch itself works by testing at the contacts under the seat. Could there be discontinuity in the wiring at any later location? To me it looks that the wires go directly to the ECU.

A couple of years back - when my jetting was kinda offbeat - there was a clear difference between dry/wet maps...

I have a dual map on my 2000 XC300 with the big bore kit. The difference is distinctive but not huge.

To retrofit the dual map onto an older bike you will either need to buy the GG harness or build your own. The dual map has the later generation single multiwire plug where the older unit had individual connectors for the leads.

Ejas- I would check to make sure your switch / circuit is actually working as measured at the CDI connector. Maybe you have a broken wire, disconnected plug or bad switch. You can bypass the handle bar switch and plug or unplug the two terminals next to the CDI.
