Headlight electrical Problem
I need help. I recently purchased a 2008 EC300, and the headlight is not working. I checked the bulb and it appears to be fine. The wires in the factory connector are purple and yellow. There are two additional wires which are purple and yellow. I am guessing those are for the accessory light next to the headlight. So I checked the ground and it appears to be the yellow leads. Headlight still will not burn.
Questions: Is there a fuse somewhere on the bike for the headlight? Is it possible the stator winding is bad? How do you check this.? There is no headlight switch on the bars, just the switch that operates the computer.
