Exclamation "Exotic Bike" Trail Ride - Spring 2011 Edition

Gentlemen and brave maidens - it's almost time to set wheels on the Long Lake Trail once again, this time with more than a couple Gassers, a Husky, a Husaberg, and perhaps even an old PE175. Rumor has it that GGOR.US supported Aaron Wegner will be on hand with his 2011 Six Days 250 to help explain why his bike is so much faster than everyone else's.

Tentative date is Wednesday June 8, and with the long days we should be able to get at least two loops in.

Start will be roughly 10:30 +/-. Trail maps provided. Bring some snacks. Long Lake trail is a Michigan ORV trail located just north of Cadillac, MI. More details to follow.

Why not on the weekend (such as Saturday)? Just curious.

Wednesday almost guarantees we get the trail to ourselves and what better way to break up the work week?

Races on the front and back end mean that mid-week is best for Aaron as well.

This is just like Christmas Eve ... can't wait for tomorrow. We should have a decent size group of guys with GasGas representation from 1999 onward, along with a Husky or two, and even something called a Honda The Husaberg won't be joining us ... broke again

Let's plan on running the first loop counterclockwise (up the sand hill directly from the parking area), leaving about 10:30.

I'll have trail maps and cold Gatorade ... hope to see you there.
