Coil HV wire is common problem over time on the Kokusan coils. You did right redressing/rethreading the ends, just use some grip glue or "Shoe Goo" adhesive as a sealer between the HV wire and plastic coil body, and again under the small rubber boot.

Did just that,seems to be running fine now.thanks everyone for the input. Now all I need is more time to ride.
