$114 for both the original Roam and the Roam2. You can upgrade the software on the Roam to Roam2 and have two great cameras for cheap.
looks vary appealing, do you know how long it goes for?

That is a great deal! I just bought a refurbished Roam for $49.

Contour here too. Love the ease of use. Have knocked it hard off my helmet against trees several times, no damage.

Biggest complaint on it is the quiet recording sound but all the pros outweigh that.

I vaguely remember that you can use the utility on your computer to turn up the mic sensitivity.

many good camera options out there, my biggest issue is not having the time to go through the footage and edit it, so have giggggs of unedited footage that is waiting for my retirement (about 20 years away!)

No idea, but I just bought mine. Probably will last until they burn through the old stock of either camera. Even just $99 for a Roam2 is a good deal.

I am right there with you. With the Contour, I simply cycle the power switch at the trail head, so I can get a section on film and not have to wade through miles of boring transfer sections to get to a particular moment. I just need to remember which trail the incident occurred, and find and post that video. Much simpler than the GoPro "leave it on and edit it later."

The gopro can be paused just the same as the contours. Just a simple button push and it stops. When you are ready to record again push the same button

Only problem is that you sometimes forget if it is on or off
Some cameras also have a remote on off switch which is a useful feature to have
