PFP adjuster on 48mm Marzocchi’s
Has anybody had the PFP adjuster seize up on the 48mm CC forks? I have the cartridges removed from the fork , the adjuster seems seized. The other problem is the cartridge spring has a couple millimetres of free play. The adjuster seems like it is fully retracted. I wanted to just snug up the adjuster so the spring doesn’t have any free play.

The free play in the spring isn't a problem. It's taken up on assembly..
You can disassemble the whole setup; a few threads on it if you search. Then lubricate the threads with a thin silicone based grease and they'll run nicely. Be VERY VERY VERY VERY careful when threading the upper cap parts back together... it's a super fine thread. |

And to add to Jake?s advice some ?mechanics? use the pfp to undo the cartridge as they don?t have the proper tools... I?ve had forks back from tuners like this as well...
