Yeah, I've met Scott before. I don't have his email though so if you could PM me it that would be great.

Are you going to rent a gasgas when you get there? This year is chile? right?

Congrats on both. Great idea doing hte ISDE when you are young and in shape. When I finally got out of college at 25, I was fast but only had $31 in my bank account (but college was ALL paid off, all 6 1/2 yrs). When I went to the ISDE I was 29, slaving 70 hrs per week, and exhausted.

The M.E. degree should serve you well in the oil and mining industry, especially with you already being from a very resource rich part of the world.

Yes, I will be riding on a club team for Canada. I'm buying a 2007 GasGas EC250 Six Days edition bike and shipping it. This way I'll have a race bike for next season to boot. I figure now is the time to do the ISDE, since I don't have any dependents or the like. I have some student loans, but the interest on them is low so it's not a huge deal to pay the minimum for a few months. I'm hoping to get some sponsorship/support/donations so I'm not paying for everything, but if not, the bank approved me to borrow enough money to go to Six Days. If anyone is interested, I'll be selling ISDE Team Canada shirts to fundraise for the Gold Fund (covers gas, food, stuff like that). If anyone knows any companies interested in supporting a young and very enthusiastic rider, I'd appreciate any help I can get. Thanks guys,

Steve

I'll be at the Monkeywrench. Look for a light blue 1989 Toyota 4Runner with a black and gray trailer. I'm on a yellow GG 200 with #26 on the plates, my buddy is on a KTM 300XC. I'll also have a 2007 GasGas EC250 in the trailer at some point (picking up my Six Days bike at the Monkeywrench). Come say hi!
