Default Removing stock handguards & lever bolts 2011

I have a new 2011 250 6-Days and I removed the useless stock handguards and I am installing real aluminum handguards.

What has everyone done about the clutch and brake lever bolts that are specific to the original plactic guards?

The stock bolts are now too long and the washers and spacers are too long or too large, there is now no sort of rubber front brake boot/dust seal, there is slop in the lever, etc...

Please help!

Thanks.
