Howdy Rodent. Good to meet you yesterday. Did you manage to find the motivation today? How did they work?

I fitted my kit today, the blocks needed to be taken down a whisker as they were too tight in the swing arm(only slightly). The kit comes with an aluminium nut which I personally don't have a great deal of faith in, so I used a steel Yamaha nut mentioned in the thread below.

All in all the kit is well made but by the time it's landed in Australia the price is a bit exy.

Bugger. I didnt put the locknuts on mine. Did you find instructions somewhere that suggested they need to be fitted?

I imagine that once the axle nut is tightened it should not move much at all (I hope).

No instructions, I just rather that the threads weren't getting pounded should there be any movement

'Cause I don't ride it

It's only got 22 hours on it, but I am a stickler for keeping shit clean......And my shit doesn't get "rode hard and put away wet"

I do have a '12 Suzuki Bandit with 27000ks on it that still looks new........if you're interested
